FURNITURE
At AFEZ we import furniture mainly from Rajasthan, India. These pieces have all been handmade and most are either carved or painted in intricate traditional designs. Some pieces are old or for instance with most bookcases the front and sides are old carving and have been matched with new timber for the shelves and back. This makes for a very interesting piece of furniture and fits with a modern or traditional style.
We carry and extensive range of bedside tables painted or stained in varying sizes. There has been a demand lately for vanity units to use with an exposed bowl for the bathroom or powder room, and we have ordered 8 new pieces in our recent trip to India. They will be arriving in April so please contact us if you are interested.
AFEZ also has many special doorways and window frames from Rajasthan and also from Morocco. These could also be used internally to insert in a wall to make a feature of a certain area. Combined with one of the beautiful Moroccan lamps this produces a wonderful ambiance in an entry way or lounge room.
