As the day for all those special ladies in your life arrives....10th May for anyone who has maybe been lost in cyberspace - Mother's Day is imminent, so... I thought I would help you out and make a few suggestions for a unique gift.

Traditionally this is a time for Mum to put her feet up and a perr..fect way to do that is on a beautifully embroidered wooden footstool from Rajasthan, India. These come in three different styles and many colours and fabrics. For her feet, we have unpacked some gorgeous soft leather slippers from Morocco.

For a cuppa she will not forget in a hurry, we have a wonderful selection of silver teapots (also from Morocco) together with her own ‘slave' so that she will not burn her fingers while she pours the last drop...ah..! Beautiful Moroccan or Turkish teaglasses could complete the picture.

Alternately, surprise her with a hand block printed silk wrap from, Bangladesh. These beautiful pieces of wearable art are intricately hand topstitched, and each is unique.
